The past year at The Drinkery has been amazing to say the least. We are so happy to have such a great group of people who visit us as often as they can, and don't just buy beer and wine, but are part of an experience.
Our limo ride to the SNHBF was about taking a really cool thing and turning it into an experience - making it something unique. Riding with Ellen Herlicka, drinking private stock Barley Wine and spending time talking at length with like-minded people who frequent our little store - in a word: incredible.
We have been working on a project for the last few months - a place where you can sit down and enjoy your small batch beer on draft, or your small production wine. A place where attention to detail counts - stouts poured in snifters, whites and reds poured in appropriate glassware, and a rotating beer and wine flight menu that focuses heavily on local brewers and small production wineries.
We would like to introduce Cask & Vine. We have decided to use Kickstarter to get things rolling, and have had a blast designing fun unique experiences for project backers... t-shirts and stickers to personalized beer mugs, bar stool and even dedicated wine barrel tables which come from winemakers we currently feature at The Drinkery! We want your visit to Cask & Vine to be more than a night out for drinks - we want an experience.
We appreciate all of your support, and cannot wait to open the doors!
